The latest phase of properties has just been released at Eden Park, Bloor Homes’ attractive collection of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom houses on the outskirts of Rugby. And judging by the success of the development so far, buyers will need to register soon if they want to make the most of the superb choice of homes on offer.

Homes like The Langley, a three bedroom house that occupies a prominent corner plot at Eden Park. Priced from just £182,000, The Langley is the ideal home for a growing family. Opening off the entrance hall are a sitting room, a bright kitchen/dining room with French windows leading into the garden and a cloakroom, while upstairs are two good size bedrooms, a family bathroom and a master bedroom complete with wardrobes and a luxury en suite shower room. The all-important practicalities have not been forgotten: there are generous built-in storage cupboards in the hall and on the landing, the kitchen comes fitted with an oven, hob, extractor and a fridge/freezer. There is also a single garage and parking.

Vanessa Macnee, Sales Director of Bloor Homes, comments: “Eden Park offers something for everyone, with its variety of styles and sizes and its well-planned, landscaped layout. We have been delighted by the success of the development so far, which really reflects the attractiveness of the Rugby area for families, commuters and first-time buyers.

“Properties like The Langley are superb value for money, providing well priced family accommodation in a location that will cater to the owners’ needs for years to come.”

The other houses available in the latest phase include two 3 bedroom semi-detached houses in the Bampton style, and four 4 bedroom townhouses: three of the Tealy and one of the Welton. Prices range from £175,000 to £260,000, but Bloor Homes is offering a helping hand in the shape of the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme, which is available on all Bloor properties up to the value of £600,000.

Through the Help to Buy scheme, the Government lends up to 20% of the value of the property via an equity loan which can repaid at any time or on the sale of the property. The buyer then only needs to find a 5% deposit, and arrange a mortgage for the remainder of the purchase price.

Located just north of Rugby town centre, Eden Park is a collection of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes designed in a range of styles and finished to the superb specification for which Bloor is renowned. The development is ideally situated for commuters, who are increasingly drawn to this corner of Warwickshire by its excellent value compared with London prices. It is within easy reach of the M6 and M1 motorways, and regular rail services from Rugby to London take about 50 minutes; Rugby station also provides direct services to Northampton, Leicester and Coventry, and there is sheltered cycle storage and car parking available.

Rugby town centre has a wonderful variety of stores, independent retailers, cafés and bars. Sporty types will appreciate the nearby LA Fitness, Ken Marriott Leisure Centre and Rugby School Sports Centre, which mean that there is no excuse not to stay active. More leisurely passtimes are available in the surrounding countryside and at a variety of outdoor facilities: Draycote Water Country Park, Coombe Park and Brandon Marsh Nature Centre are all within six miles of Eden Park.
