Construction work is now under way at Taylor Wimpey’s prestigious new Beaumont Meadow development in Warwick.

The start of work at the site, off Academy Drive on the southern fringes of this historic town, means property-seekers will soon be able to take their pick from this stunning collection of three-bedroom townhouses and four and five-bedroom detached homes, with the first plots due to be released for sale shortly.

Each of the new properties at Beaumont Meadow has been carefully designed to incorporate the use of local materials to reflect the unique character of the town, and will benefit from a superb specification finish including an upgraded kitchen.

Early-bird reservations are now being taken on the first four-bedroom plots at the development, which are priced from just £309,995 and are due to be completed towards the end of 2013.

Meanwhile, anyone who registers their interest before the launch of the development will receive a £500 Options voucher if they go on to purchase a new home at Beaumont Meadow.

Anne Wallace, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We’re really pleased to have begun building work at Beaumont Meadow, which means we are now another step closer to unveiling the first selection of beautiful properties to Warwick home-hunters.

“Interest in this exciting new homes development is steadily building and it is shaping up to be hugely popular with discerning purchasers – so I would encourage would-be buyers to act quickly and register their interest without delay.”

The new homes at Beaumont Meadow come hot on the heels of Taylor Wimpey’s sought-after Warwick Chase development nearby, where there’s a selection of four-bedroom houses, priced from £345,995, available for fast-acting purchasers to reserve.

Under the Government’s new Help to Buy shared equity scheme, first-time buyers and existing homeowners can purchase their new home for 80% of its full price, including a 5% deposit. The initiative is available on all new-build homes priced up to £600,000 and there is no salary cap for customers taking advantage of the scheme.

The NewBuy initiative, meanwhile, gives credit-worthy purchasers in a variety of circumstances the chance to access their ideal home with a 95% mortgage.

Beaumont Meadow enjoys an appealing semi-rural location on the edge of historic Warwick, and is only a stone’s-throw away from attractive open countryside and one of Britain’s oldest racecourses.

Just one mile away from the development’s scenic setting are the boutique shops, bars, restaurants and pubs of Warwick’s atmospheric town centre, where medieval buildings and modern amenities offer an appealing blend of old and new.

A selection of well-regarded schools for children of all ages is available within easy reach of Beaumont Meadow, and there’s also a wide range of sports and leisure facilities available nearby.

Commuters will appreciate Warwick’s superb links to the rest of the Midlands and further afield via the M40 and M42, while Warwick and Warwick Parkway railway stations provide direct services to Birmingham and London.

To make an early-bird reservation or register an interest in the new homes at Beaumont Meadow, property-seekers should visit the Warwick Chase Sales Centre, located off the A429 Stratford Road, Warwick, CV34 6RA, and open daily from 11am to 5pm.
