Property-seekers need to be quick if they want to secure a slice of life at Saxon Fields, Taylor Wimpey’s fast-selling development in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.

The leading housebuilder has recently released a new phase of homes in response to high levels of demand from discerning home-buyers in the area.

This fresh release of properties is proving a real hit with purchasers, so would-be buyers are being urged to visit the development as soon as possible – or risk missing out on their ideal home.

Christine Scarborough, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Saxon Fields has been a real success story since it opened two years ago – and interest is showing no signs of slowing.

“We released a new phase of properties towards the end of July, and as expected, they’ve been in demand with clued-up purchasers.

“The homes here benefit from a wonderful location on the edge of open countryside, and are within easy reach of Biggleswade town centre and convenient travel links into London.

“With a range of stylish new home designs available at value for money prices and with our fantastic choice of incentives, it’s no surprise Saxon Fields has become such a property hotspot!”

Two-bedroom apartments are priced from £145,950 at the development, while three-bedroom houses are priced from £199,950 and four-bedroom properties from £250,000.

The Plot 680 three-bedroom ‘Garsdale’, for example, is priced at just £199,950 and boasts a generous kitchen/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, plus a lounge and a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the landing leads to an en-suite master bedroom, two further bedrooms and a main bathroom, while outside the property benefits from a car port and allocated parking.

The Government’s new Help to Buy equity loan scheme is available now at Saxon Fields, enabling first-time buyers and those looking to move on from an existing home to purchase their new property for 80% of its full price, including a deposit as low as 5%.

The NewBuy initiative, meanwhile, gives credit-worthy purchasers in a variety of circumstances the chance to access their ideal home with a 95% mortgage.

Saxon Fields enjoys a sought-after location in the popular new community of King’s Reach, which is situated to the south-east of Biggleswade town centre, bordered by open countryside yet within easy reach of day-to-day facilities.

King’s Reach offers plenty of opportunities for pleasant walks and cycle rides, while Biggleswade boasts a wide selection of high street and independent shops, a bustling weekly market, supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, health facilities, a cinema and a leisure centre and pool.

For commuters, Biggleswade railway station is only a mile from the development and runs frequent services to London King’s Cross in as little as 35 minutes, while the A1 for the capital and the north is just half a mile from home.

To find out why the new homes at Saxon Fields are so popular, property-hunters should visit the Sales Information Centre, located in Saxon Drive, Biggleswade, and open daily from 10am to 5.30pm (Mondays 2pm to 5.30pm).
