Information centre now open for Redrow's new Chard development

Redrow is excited to announce the early information centre for its new development, Mitchell Park, is now open. It is located at 15 The High Street, Chard, only 200 yards from the development.
Once the show homes open in September the marketing suite will move to a three bedroom Letchworth property. House hunters will also be able to explore the popular four bedroom Cambridge housetype. Until then prospective buyers should visit the early information centre on the high street to find out more about the advantages of purchasing off plan.
Philippa Attwood, area sales manager for Redrow (South West), said: “Buying off plan has proved incredibly popular at our developments across the South West. Many homebuyers have opted to buy off plan as it has a great number of benefits; including being able to pick the finishing touches and personalising your new dream home, with choice of kitchen fittings, positioning/style of sockets and switches, wall tiles in the bathroom, door handles and wardrobes. In addition it allows homebuyers to opt for extras including bathroom upgrades, floor tiles, carpets, electric garage doors and much more.
“Be one of the first to receive information about this fantastic up and coming development. This well placed development is bound to prove popular, so register your interest today to make sure you get pick of the plots!”
Mitchell Park is a five-acre development in Chard which, when complete, will be home to 40 private properties, consisting of three and four bedroom homes as well as affordable properties. Prices will range from £234,995 to £285,995.
Homebuyers in Somerset are able to purchase a brand new Redrow home at Mitchell Park with just a 5% deposit and enjoy lower monthly mortgage repayments, thanks to the Government backed Help to Buy scheme. It enables those who have saved at least a 5% deposit to take out an equity loan from the Government for up to 20% of the purchase price. This means they only need a 75% mortgage from their chosen lender and should be able to access much more competitive interest rates, which would make their mortgage repayments more affordable.
Mitchell Park lies on the edge of Chard, within easy reach of a wide range of excellent amenities including shops and schools. This superb development of New Heritage Collection homes combines traditional architecture with modern interiors, in a stunning country location that offers everything one could want for a family home.
