St. Modwen Homes is inviting househunters in Rugby to pop along and view the luxury new ‘Stilwell’ showhome at its Edison Place development, located off Technology Drive in Rugby.

Presenting a spacious three storey, four bedroom townhouse, the new showhome has been thoughtfully designed with growing families in mind and offers the very latest interior design trends, featuring stylish neutral tones characterised by pops of burgundy and cerise accessories.

The new showhome at Edison Place is the first opportunity for potential purchasers to view the new properties at the development for themselves, allowing people to get a feel for what it would be like to live in one of the homes.

Offering the very best in contemporary living, the Stilwell features an open-plan kitchen and dining area with a large oak dining table seating up to eight people – ideal for large Sunday lunches with the family – and comes with French doors which open out onto a rear turfed lawn and a landscaped rockery.

The formal lounge boasts a large bay window, creating a light, airy feel and features on-trend 70s furniture, including a mahogany sliding door cabinet and a cream leather swivel chair and footstool. Upstairs, the master suite also benefits from a large bay window, and presents sumptuous silver and grey bedding along with mirrored furniture to add a real touch of glamour. The master bedroom and second bedroom both boast their own luxury en-suites.

Helping househunters visualise their family living in the home, other bedrooms have been dressed as a little boy’s room – with UFO feature wallpaper and scattered toys, along with a teenage girl’s room, which boasts a double bed – perfect for sleepovers – and features a vibrant pink and purple colour scheme.

Neil Simpson, sales and marketing director at St. Modwen Homes, said: “We are delighted with the success of the homes at Edison Place, with over 25 per cent of the homes at the current phase of the development having sold from plan, despite people not having a showhome to look around.

“The Government’s latest equity loan scheme, Help to Buy, has also played a key part in the development’s success, allowing people on all stages of the property ladder to buy their dream home with a deposit of as little as four per cent.

“Typical of St. Modwen Homes’ individual house designs, the new showhome benefits from large bay windows on two of the three floors, along with French doors, which create lighter, more spacious living spaces for the homeowner. The open-plan kitchen and dining at the heart of the property allows families to spend valuable time together whilst cooking, catching up on emails or doing homework. The launch of this highly-anticipated show home at Edison Place is sure to draw yet more crowds to view the attractive homes on offer.”

Homes in the current phase at Edison Place start in price from £219,995 for a two storey, three bedroom property, up to £259,950 for a three storey, four bedroom detached Stilwell house. All the new homes are available under the Government’s Help to Buy scheme.

Ideally situated off Leicester Road, Edison Place is 1.4km north east of the centre of Rugby and is located just 500m from Rugby railway station, with regular connections to London Euston and Birmingham Stations in less than an hour.
