2007 Goodwood Breakfast Club season gets off to a cracking start

Despite typically British weather to match the theme, the first 2007 Breakfast Club meeting still tempted many classic British roadsters and bikes out of their long winter hibernation.
A huge variety of British-built cars, light commercial vehicles and motorcycles took to the picturesque West Sussex roads for an enjoyable Sunday morning drive, before displaying their machines outside the circuit’s Vitra Café.
Amongst the various Aston Martins, Morgans, Bentleys, MG and Lotus cars, there was a special display of desirable Triumph cars and motorcycles, which included a rare Triumph Italia sports car and Thunderbird bike, as well as a fantastic recreation of the TRS Le Mans car.
Many visitors enjoyed a hearty breakfast, made with Goodwood’s delicious home-reared organic ingredients. Visitors also took the opportunity to wander around the atmospheric Goodwood paddock to view the impressive array of assembled cars.
All Goodwood Breakfast Club meetings are held on the first Sunday of the month, with the next event, on 1 April, set to attract a gaggle of stylish Italian machines to the Motor Circuit, reflecting the theme of ‘Forza Italia – Italian brio, from scooters to supercars’.
A full list of the remaining 2007 Goodwood Breakfast Club dates and themes is as given on the following page.
