Master a move to a new home in Wigan

The number of homes sold in the UK is on the up and, as more people look to move amid improving market conditions, Redrow is offering to help homeowners sell up and move on.

Surveyors say that the number of properties sold in September was the highest in almost four years. And while growing consumer confidence means more people are putting their homes on the market, on average it can take more than six months to sell a home in Wigan

Those who want to sell up quickly and achieve full market value for the house they’re moving from are invited to join Redrow at College Court this Sunday (October 20).

Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), says: “There’s been a lot of positive news about the housing market in recent months, which has encouraged people to think about buying and selling. We’ve certainly seen an increase in enquiries at College Court.

“This Sunday we’ll be explaining that whether you’re moving up the property ladder or downsizing to somewhere more manageable, with Mastermove you should be able to avoid taking several months to sell a home in Wigan. Instead of waiting for a buyer, with the combined effort of Redrow and a local agent, you could sell your property much more quickly and at full market value.”

Redrow will arrange to have the client’s property valued and agree a selling price with them. Then they will liaise with a local estate agent to market the property on the customer’s behalf, keeping in regular contact with all parties to ensure the property sells as quickly as possible. They will even pay the estate agent’s fees. All it takes is a small deposit, which will be refunded upon completion.

College Court offers a good choice of properties ranging from two-bedroom apartments to substantial four-bedroom detached family homes, with prices from £103,995.

Among the homes available is the four-bedroom Shrewsbury. Priced from £187,995 it’s now ready to move into.

The Shrewsbury features a lounge to the front, with an open plan kitchen and dining room to the rear. The kitchen is well equipped with integrated top brand name appliances, while the utility provides a dedicated space for the washer and dryer. A cloakroom completes the ground floor accommodation.

Upstairs, the master bedroom benefits from an en-suite, with the remaining three bedrooms sharing the family bathroom.

Located off Robin Park Road, College Court is centrally placed for local amenities including supermarkets, a retail park, cinema, sports facilities and restaurants; while Wigan’s Grand Arcade shopping centre boasts a range of popular high street stores, cafes and bars. The homes are also within easy reach of the M6 motorway and rail network for commuting.

To find out how you could master a move to a brand new home, visit College Court from 11am to 4pm this Sunday.
