The first 12 properties of a major new phase at Countryside Properties’ ever-popular New Broughton Village development in Salford have been released.

Countryside Properties is giving early bird buyers the chance to get the pick of the plots of the much-anticipated new three and four bedroom homes at its flourishing community development just a mile from Manchester city centre. Prices start at just £154,950.

As the sixth phase of the flagship regeneration scheme, the developer is introducing four of its most popular house designs for the first time at New Broughton Village. These are the three bedroom Ashwell and Longford properties and the four bedroom New Severn and the four bedroom Dunham which is split over three floors, with a spacious ensuite master bedroom on the top floor.

The popular three bedroom Thame design is also being made available again due to customer demand.

Peter Vella, regional sales and marketing director at Countryside Properties, said: “Since its launch, New Broughton Village has experienced unparalleled interest from couples, young families and first time buyers all wanting to make the most of the spacious quality homes in a superb location close to the city centre.

“Our latest phase of spacious family homes is already generating another burst of interest as some of these house designs are available for the very first time at this development and are some of our most popular designs from across our portfolio.

“We’ve been taking calls from interested buyers about this anticipated phase for over a month. There is a real appetite for off-plan sales here.”

Countryside Properties is expecting a surge of interest from buyers keen to take advantage of the government’s Help to Buy scheme, which is available on the new properties. Under the Help to Buy scheme, a three bedroom property is available from £116,213* (full price £154,950) with a government loan of 20% and requiring a 5% deposit of £7,748.

Peter added: “The combination of a low deposit and affordable mortgage offered by Help to Buy means that these superb new homes are within reach for many of those who may be currently renting in the city.

“This weekend is a great opportunity to pop in and speak to one of our experts and find out how you can secure one of these new homes.”

Forming part of Salford City Council’s successful £500m regeneration of Lower Broughton, New Broughton Village is a collection of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, and three and four-bedroom homes. The development launched in 2006 and has since grown to a flourishing community with a range of local amenities, a new school, a landscaped park and a Church just a stone’s throw away.
