There are no less than 4 snowparks and the off piste enjoys remaining untracked far longer than many big name resorts. As you would expect the cuisine varies from fast food to Spanish and French gourmet style eateries - all affordable prices with plenty of local run friendly hostelries to ensure a lively and fun après ski scene.

There is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site called Madriu-Perafita-Claror a glacial valley and several architectural and Romanesque wonders in the area. As well as offering incredible skiing and boarding, Andorra is also the favourite shopping and entertainment destination frequented by bargain hunters thanks to its famous duty free status.

Action Plan

The local ski school enjoys an enviable reputation for a high level of instruction and native English speaking instructors. As well as skiing and boarding, try activities such as snowshoeing, snow bikes or a family day out enjoying the snow parks and adventure circuits of Vallnord and Grandvalira, building igloos, joining the Snow Snake, mushing and shopping trips to the capital Andorra La Vella.
