Property renters who are keen to take their first step on to the housing ladder are being urged to visit one of Taylor Wimpey’s stunning developments in Bedfordshire.

Prospective purchasers at Bramble Walk in Biggleswade and Heritage Park in Bedford might be surprised to discover just how affordable buying a home at either of these wonderful developments might be.

While renters are struggling to keep up with their spiralling monthly payments, securing a property at Bramble Walk or Heritage Park offers a far more attractive option than lining a landlord’s pockets.

The average monthly rent for a two-bedroom property in Bedford is £649, yet buyers can purchase a two-bedroom apartment at Heritage Park from just £140,000 – meaning their monthly mortgage payments could be as little as £420.

Steve Rolt, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Purchasing a new home at Bramble Walk or Heritage Park can work out to be far more affordable than renting a similar-sized property in the area.

“I would urge anyone interested in finding out more to come and see our Sales Executive to discuss how they could take that first step on to the property ladder – and potentially save hundreds of pounds every month.”

There’s a superb selection of homes currently available at Heritage Park, including two-bedroom apartments from £140,000 and four-bedroom designs from £250,000.

Meanwhile, at Bramble Walk, purchasers can choose from two-bedroom apartments from £192,500 and four-bedroom houses from £270,000.

The two-bedroom Plot 50 ‘Heritage’ apartment at Heritage Park, priced at £140,000, features an open-plan kitchen/living/dining room, an en-suite master bedroom, a further double bedroom and a bathroom off the internal entrance hallway.

To make securing their perfect property even easier, purchasers can benefit from the Help To Buy scheme at the development, which means eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell can secure a Government loan for 20% of their new home’s full price.

This means they only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a 5% deposit – reducing their monthly outgoings even further!
