Lashings World XI cricket team bowled over by Chrysler range

Lashings World XI and Chrysler Chrysler UK Ltd is proud to be the offical vehicle partner for Lashings World XI cricket team for the second year running.

Lashings World XI are a ‘dream team’ of world cricket stars that play exhibition matches around the UK and abroad. As well as playing cricket, the team promotes and raises money for charities and worthwhile causes.

The Lashings World XI 2009 season has just started and the squad is made up of world-class players, including former New Zealand player, Chris Harris (captain), West Indian cricket legends, Richie Richardson (manager) and Alvin Kallicharan (coach), Devon Malcolm, Graeme Hick, Ian Harvey, Phil Defreitas, Henry Olonga, Stuart Law, Ed Giddins, Saqlain Mustaq, Jason Gillespie, Greg Blewett, Gordon Greenidge and John Emburey.

As the official car supplier to the Lashing’s World XI team, Chrysler has provided players with either a Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge vehicle to travel to and from matches and training grounds.

Commenting on the partnership, Nigel Land, Marketing Director at Chrysler UK Ltd, said: “We are delighted to be the official vehicle partner for Lashings World XI cricket team for the second year running.

“We take great pride in knowing that our world-class cars will be transporting these world-class players in luxury and comfort throughout their 2009 tour.”
