Dodge Journey to be unveiled at Frankfurt

28th August 2007 Print
Dodge Journey Dodge will unveil its all-new family crossover vehicle at the 2007 International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt this September.

The Dodge Journey is a seven-seat vehicle that combines the space and practicality of an MPV with the style of an SUV and the ride, handling and fuel efficiency of a family saloon.

Peter Lambert, Managing Director of Chrysler Group UK said: “The Dodge Journey will attract drivers that need to have an MPV but don’t want to own a car with traditional people-carrier looks. The bold styling of the Journey means it shares the same ‘stand out from the crowd’ looks of the new Nitro and Avenger and our latest model will offer the same excellent value for money that Dodge customers in the UK have come to expect.”

The front-wheel drive Dodge Journey will be launched in the UK in summer 2008 and will feature a 2.4-litre petrol engine or a 2.0-litre diesel engine. Both powertrains will be available with either a manual or automatic gearbox.

Peter Lambert added: “Families that need space for 5+2 will love the flexible seating system, spacious storage bins and underfloor storage areas. Safety is also very important for these customers and with ESP and three-row side curtain airbags this really is the ideal family vehicle.”
