Eight sales in 10 days is proof that demand for new homes is outstripping supply in the latest phase of Jennett’s Park in Bracknell.

Prospective purchasers are practically queuing up to buy one of the final homes at Kensington Place or Redrow’s newly launched Kensington Mews.

Julie Davies, sales manager for Redrow Homes (Southern Counties), says: “Our new homes in Bracknell have always been popular but as the housing market continues to bounce back we’ve seen an upsurge in enquiries. We already have a database of more than 300 people interested in the remaining homes at Kensington Place and Kensington Mews so potentially could sell each one six times over.

“Our experience echoes the findings of surveyors who report that demand for property for sale exceeds what’s currently available. Quite simply we’ve been inundated with enquiries, receiving 120 email enquiries in just two days. There’s a real sense of urgency among buyers as they don’t want to miss out.”

Current availability includes three and four-bedroom homes from Redrow’s sought-after Heritage Collection, with prices starting from £ £369,950 for a four bedroom Stratford . By taking out a Help to buy equity loan for up to 20% of the price, customers could see the initial cost of this home reduced to £ £295,960.

“More and more people are becoming aware of Help to Buy and what a difference it can make to their buying power. First time buyers who previously thought they would only be able to purchase an apartment with one or two bedrooms are now finding that their money goes further and with an equity loan they can potentially buy a three-bedroom home,” Julie adds.

Inspired by the architecture of the Arts & Crafts era, the homes at Kensington Mews will look traditional from the outside. Inside, however, they will be bright and modern, with a high specification including integrated top brand kitchen appliances, bathrooms and en-suites with quality fixtures and fittings and energy efficient central heating systems.

Jennett’s Park is the ideal commuter base as Bracknell is only five minutes away and Reading can be reached in 20 minutes. There’s also easy access to the M3 and M4 via the A329 Berkshire Way; while direct trains from Bracknell to London Waterloo take around an hour.

There are plenty of opportunities for residents to enjoy the great outdoors close to home as approximately half of Jennett’s Park is set aside for open space, retained woodland and recreational areas.

The sales office at Kensington Mews is open daily from 10am to 5.30pm. Alternatively, for more information see redrow.co.uk/developments/kensington-mews-bracknell.
