Richmond-upon-Thames venue to offer new drinking and dining experience

Revolution is bringing a dramatic change to Richmond after choosing its venue on Whittaker Avenue as the latest bar to receive a complete overhaul. A six-figure investment will transform the existing site to enhance its offer as a premium drinking and dining venue.

Located in the heart of Richmond, the venue offers panoramic views of the River Thames from its new outdoor dining area and terrace, as well as an exciting new live music proposition, offering customers entertainment from Thursday to Sunday, every week. The venue will also boast a brand new private events space, perfect for corporate events and personal celebrations.

The bar officially re-opens on Friday 21st March with a very special event to include canapés, cocktails and live music. The drinks menu offers premium spirits and an extensive list of carefully selected wines and champagnes to compliment the food menu. The cocktail list encapsulates traditional flavours and unique cocktails, with classics like the Pornstar Martini still enjoying its rightful place on the list but joined by reinventions such as the ‘shakers’.

With an increased demand for affordable, quality food, Revolution has introduced a brand new brunch menu available from 10am until noon offering classics such as the Full English, Eggs Benedict, or lighter options such as Granola, all accompanied by an extensive selection of hot beverages. The full menu is now available from noon until 10pm, offering customers stone baked pizzas among other popular main dishes, snacks and smaller plates. There will also be regular food specials to include Revolution’s very own ‘Maids of Honour’ Tart, which has become one of Richmond’s greatest contributions to the culinary world.

The bar’s general manager, Lisa Davies, said: “We are really looking forward to bringing something new to the already vibrant food and drink scene in Richmond. To help build the anticipation we will have a team of chefs, mixologists and more stationed on the high street with our ‘Cocktails and Kitchen’ cart handing out food samples, coffees and mocktails. We are confident the invigorated venue and striking new outdoor dining space will make our bar the best location in Richmond for cocktails and casual dining, all accompanied by the best view in town.”
