Victory for Drive & Survive in the Fleet News Awards
Leading UK driver risk management specialist, Drive & Survive, has won the 'Best Risk Management Company' category in this week's prestigious 2007 Fleet News Awards. The members of the judging panel described Drive & Survive as "genuinely innovative and we admire the way it continues to contribute to the fleet industry."But Drive & Survive's success at the fleet industry's equivalent of the Oscars was not restricted to just its own accolade. Three of its biggest customers also achieved major victories.
Ford won 'Fleet Manufacturer of the Year', the 'UK Fleet of the Year' honour went to PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Chuck Ives of Network Rail was nominated as 'Fleet Manager of the Year' in the 401+ vehicle fleet category.
"Whilst we are thrilled with our own result, I find it particularly gratifying that three of our larger customers received important awards too," says Drive & Survive's General Manager, Andy Neale. "I like to think that the work we are doing with all three companies to reduce fleet running costs and promote best practice contributed to their victories to some degree."
2007 is turning out to be a year of recognition for the 21-year-old Oxfordshire-based company. The success at the Fleet News Awards follows on from Drive & Survive's double whammy in the Business Car Awards, where the company achieved not only 'Best Risk Management Supplier' but also the overall 'Service Provider' title.
