Taylor Wimpey’s Lucet Meadow development, a stunning collection of two, three and four-bedroom homes in Redditch, Worcestershire, has been officially unveiled by the Deputy Mayor of Redditch.

Councillor Pat Witherspoon was the guest of honour at the launch of the brand new Sales Centre and showhomes off Woodrow North on Saturday 12th April.

The beautiful three-bedroom ‘Ingleton’ and the gorgeous two-bedroom ‘Canford’ have been expertly decorated and styled with exquisite furnishings, fittings and finishing touches.

The ‘Ingleton’ has been given a contemporary Spring feel with a stunning white and green colour scheme, featuring modern white gloss and walnut furniture and apple green touches throughout. The ‘Canford’, meanwhile, boasts a fashionable urban American decor of blues and reds, with the master bedroom featuring a striking monochrome wallpaper made up of photographs of New York.

Householders who dream of a home with more space can escape to a bigger property by taking advantage of the Government’s Help to Buy scheme at Lucet Meadow.

The Help to Buy scheme enables eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell to secure a Government loan for 20% of their new home’s full price – so they only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a 5% deposit.

Anne Wallace, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “For anyone living in a home which is becoming too small for their needs, having extra space can make all the difference – and Help to Buy is allowing many purchasers to find they can afford a larger home than they might have previously thought possible.

“Potential purchasers can gain a unique insight into the wonderful lifestyle opportunities available at Lucet Meadow by visiting the stunning new showhomes, which have been expertly decorated and are sure to impress.”

The ‘Ingleton’ features a spacious lounge/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, with a kitchen/breakfast room and a guest cloakroom completing the ground-floor layout.

Upstairs, the first-floor landing leads to two bedrooms and a main bathroom, while an en-suite master bedroom enjoys appealing seclusion on the top floor. Properties of this type are available to reserve now at Lucet Meadow from £181,995.

Meanwhile, the ‘Canford’ features a living/dining room, a kitchen and a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway, with an en-suite master bedroom, a further guest bedroom and a bathroom upstairs.

There’s a superb selection of homes currently available at Lucet Meadow, including three-bedroom houses from £161,995, and four-bedroom designs from £239,995.

Help to Buy is available on new-build homes up to the value of £600,000 and there is no salary cap for purchasers taking advantage of the scheme.

The new homes at Lucet Meadow enjoy an exceptional setting in Redditch, with a wide range of amenities, sports and leisure centres and community facilities on the doorstep.

Redditch boasts a thriving town centre, with more than 150 shops, restaurants and entertainment venues in the renowned Kingfisher Centre, plus a wide selection of stores in the surrounding streets and an outdoor market open five days a week.

A superb selection of schools for children of all ages can be found within easy reach of Lucet Meadow, including the highly regarded Woodrow First School and St Thomas More Catholic School.

Commuters will appreciate that the development is located less than seven miles from Junction 3 of the M42, for speedy connections to the motorway network for destinations across the Midlands. Meanwhile, Redditch railway station is within easy reach and provides direct services to Birmingham in 35 minutes.
