More than half the number of new homes planned for a plush development in York have been snapped up from plan – even though many will not be ready to move into until early 2015.

The Greenacre Paddock development in York is set to sell out even before the first homes are built – marking another huge local success for Linden Homes North.

Six of the eight two, three, four and five bedroom homes at the exclusive and intimate development – located just two miles from the centre of York – have been reserved fresh from the drawing board.

Although work has yet to start on site at Westview Close, savvy home hunters have been beating the rush and reserving their preferred plot from plan.

The early success of Greenacre Paddock mirrors that of previous Linden Homes York-based developments – 1877 and Huntington Road.

Linden Homes sales director Steve Woomble said: “We anticipated a lot of forward interest in this development, having experienced huge success with our 1877 and Huntington Road developments in York, and understanding that local buyers recognise the many advantages of buying off plan and reserving early.

“However, forward sales at this development have been amazing, given that the first homes are not due for completion until November / December this year.

“With this part of the world having so much to offer people in meeting their lifestyles needs and work/life balance, there is no doubt that the location coupled with customer confidence in our award-winning homes is a winning combination.”
