Simon Cowell voted UK’s favourite celebrity Cinderella

Ahead of the Britain’s Got Talent live shows hitting our screens next week, Simon Cowell has topped a list of celebrities we’d like to see tackling our household chores.

Cowell beat off stiff competition from David Cameron to be voted the famous face Britain would most like to see get their hands dirty cleaning the toilet and attempting the ironing, laundry and vacuuming, according to ‘The Panasonic Domestic Report 2014. The music mogul’s transition into fatherhood has somewhat mellowed his image, and the British public would love to see him playing Cinderella.

Ahead of her return to The X Factor, Cheryl Cole took third place in the poll of 2,000 adults, while Kim Kardashian and David Beckham scraped in fourth and fifth, respectively. Other celebrities we’d like to see playing domestic goddess included TV villain Katie Hopkins, and David’s other half, the notoriously pristine Victoria Beckham.
