East Manchester property market set to sizzle this June

Those who want to be first in the queue for new homes in the heart of East Manchester’s regeneration area are invited to an exclusive preview event in Miles Platting.

Housebuilder Lovell is part way through a project that will eventually bring around 1,000 new homes to Miles Platting as part of a brand new neighbourhood called Platting Village.

The latest phase, named Faraday Green, will go on sale in June and Lovell is hosting a preview evening at Park View Community School, on Holland Street, on Tuesday, June 10 from 5 to 8pm.

Faraday Green follows on from the highly successful neighbouring Gener8 development. The new homes provide spacious layouts, fitted kitchens, complete with appliances, gardens and parking and have the added benefit of being built to Level 3 of the Code for Sustainable Homes.

Clare Noakes, regional sales manager for Lovell (North West), said: “It’s exciting to be part of such a huge regeneration project in Miles Platting, an area with a very bright future that is enjoying ongoing investment. We look forward to welcoming families and first time buyers to Platting Village.”

The neighbourhood will include green open spaces, including a new park alongside the Rochdale Canal.

Help to Buy means customers could purchase with just a 5% deposit and receive a 20% equity loan from the government, interest free for five years.

Situated within an established residential area, residents of Platting Village will be within easy reach of a host of local amenities including the £7.4m Park View School, Miles Platting and Ancoats Sure Start Children’s Centre, Victoria Mill and the sports facilities at Eastlands.

A sales office and show homes will open later this year. For more information or to register your interest for the preview evening visit lovellnewhomes.co.uk.
