Homebuyers who want to be part of a thriving new community in Beswick can now reserve a new home on the latest phase of a hugely successful development.

Axis @ The Way has just been launched, with properties selling ‘off-plan’ to purchasers who want to be among the first to secure one of the sought after homes.

With eye catching and contemporary design, the homes at The Way stand out from others in the area. The new phase has been long-awaited and developers Lovell are expecting the mix of two, three and four-bedroom designs to sell fast.

The popular development has marked another major milestone this summer as work to transform the area began 10 years ago. Hundreds of families and first time buyers have already made their home at the location. Axis @ The Way will feature 125 new properties.

Clare Noakes, regional sales manager for Lovell in the North West, said: “This part of Beswick has been transformed beyond all recognition and is now a thriving community made up of families and professionals who have been drawn to the exceptional value for money offered, the style and quality of our homes, and the superb location so close to the city centre.

“The launch of our latest phase gives buyers who may have missed out on earlier stages the opportunity to be part of this success story.”

The spacious, light and contemporary properties have been a huge hit with young professionals who both work in Manchester and want to take advantage of being close to the city’s famous nightlife and shops.

Clare added: “It’s not an overstatement to say that The Way has been somewhat of a phenomenon in Manchester with almost 400 homes already built and occupied.
Once complete, the development will feature more than 500 new homes, which have replaced the previous rows of run down terraced housing.”

The £3.5m Ashbury Meadow Primary School and £31.5m East Manchester Academy are already open as part of the wider regeneration of the area and further community facilities are planned.

The homes will have the added benefit of being built to Level 3 of the Code for Sustainable Homes. This means they will feature energy efficient appliances and heating systems, low energy lighting, Smart Meters, and fixtures and fittings that reduce water consumption. This all adds up to a home that is more economical and therefore cheaper to run.

Prices for Axis @ The Way are from £137,500 for a two-bedroom mews property, up to £210,000 for a four-bedroom semi-detached home with over 1,300 sq feet of living space. The marketing suite off Rylance Street is open daily from 10am to 5pm.
