Kebbell Homes is celebrating after the team behind its development of new homes in Stokesley scooped a prestigious industry award.

Andrew Ramsay, Senior Site Manager at Leven Mews, has won the Highly Commended Award at the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Warranty Regional and National Site Manager Awards for his work overseeing the Levenside development.

Andrew, who has worked at Kebbell for 16 years, beat hundreds of nominees to be crowned the winner in the Yorkshire North and East Region category of the LABC Awards, which recognises and celebrates those achieving the highest standards of construction.

Andrew comments: “I’m absolutely delighted to have won and very pleased that Leven Mews has received this recognition.”

Development Director, Mike Mulligan, comments: “The success of Leven Mews is very much down to the whole team that worked on the development and this award is for all of us.

“We are all very proud of the site, which looks fantastic thanks to the collection of individual homes we have built, and were confident that it would be successful on the night.

“It has been a pleasure to work on the development alongside high quality subcontractors that are committed to building homes of distinction.”

Andrew was nominated for the award by the LABC Warranty Risk Management Surveyor, who assesses each nominee against a formal set of criteria relating to the quality of build at different key stages and on site management functions.

Linda Tillisch, Northern Sales Manager for Kebbell Homes, comments: “We are delighted that Andrew has been selected as the winner for this prestigious industry award.
“We aim for excellence in every area of house building and are dedicated to delivering the highest possible standards in every area, right through from the building process to the finished home.

“This is a fantastic achievement, not just for Andrew, but for everyone involved in the creation of this development and a huge thank you goes to all of the team for their high quality work and the excellent standards of care and attention they have devoted throughout the construction process.”
