The DS brand is proud to make its debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. Officially created on 1 June, DS has a clear-cut ambition: to return the French automotive industry to the ranks of the premium carmakers.

DS will present two concept cars at the Paris show, DIVINE DS and DS 3 INES DE LA FRESSANGE PARIS CONCEPT, which herald the future of the brand. DS will also show its latest production models, DS 3 and DS 3 Cabrio with their new front light signature, as well as a range of new connected services. The DS stand in Hall 1 is designed to immerse visitors in the DS universe, which is characterised by a distinctive blend of refinement, technology and elegance.

The Paris Motor Show is a perfect opportunity to draw the public’s attention to the brand’s exciting launch. DS builds cars that can be distinguished by their remarkable styling, their refinement, their luxurious materials and their technology.

The two concept cars will have the starring roles on the DS show stand:

Divine DS

The DIVINE DS concept represents a manifesto of style that embodies the essence of the brand and its future.

A four-door compact car, it features sleek, powerful styling accentuated with striking graphic signatures. Along with a distinctive exterior, DIVINE DS has a totally original interior that reflects the avant-garde spirit and sophistication of the brand. For this concept car, the design teams were given the freedom to fully express their creativity, which has resulted in a new philosophy for personalisation named ‘hyper-typage’. This approach offers three interchangeable interior trims, each with a unique and compelling character. DIVINE DS underlines the brand’s aim of offering customers cars that directly reflect their personalities.

DS 3 Ines De La Fressange Paris Concept

The DS Styling Centre and the Ines de La Fressange Paris fashion house have joined forces to develop two unique and attractive concepts, one based on DS 3, the other on DS 3 Cabrio. With these two concepts, DS meets the world of fashion, resulting in a striking array of graphics, materials and colours. Both feature strong styling, designed for the chic, audacious and independent Parisian woman with a taste for elegance, sophistication and modernity.

The two unique cars differ first and foremost in their bodywork colours. The DS 3 is shown in a satin-finish Ink Blue, forming a perfect match for the glossy Onyx Black roof. In contrast, the DS 3 Cabrio is finished in glossy Perla Nera Black with an Infinite Blue soft top. The new colour for the soft top roof creates new potential for the personalisation of production DS 3 Cabrio models. Both versions are fitted with 17-inch ‘Aphrodite’ diamond-cut alloy wheels that add a dynamic touch to the styling.

Designed to showcase the new DS 3 light signature, both versions also feature exclusive ‘Ines Red’ door mirrors.

The DS 3 version gains a range of personalisation features, including an ‘Aéropostale’ signature in red, white and blue across the back of the car. An enamel-effect emblem, with the words ‘Ines de la Fressange Paris’, is added to each of the central pillars. The use of the three colours – red, white and blue – clearly express the Parisian roots of both brands and their ties with French elegance and luxury.

DS 3 and DS 3 CABRIO INES DE LA FRESSANGE PARIS share the same interior, featuring the same three emblematic colours. The emphasis is on personalisation and customisation. The seats are upholstered in Granite Blue grained leather with white topstitching. This exceptional quality leather is also found on the headrests, along with the same ‘Aéropostale’ signature as on the bodywork. The dashboard is also shown in Ines Red with an enamel-style emblem incorporated into the design. As a final touch of sophistication, protective mats with edging inspired by the ‘Aéropostale’ signature further enhance the passenger compartment.

In addition to these new DS concept cars, visitors will be able to experience the DS universe, rediscover the cars that are ensuring the brand’s success today and discover its latest products and features, including the new online services provided with DS CONNECT.

These include:

MyDS Scan, a smartphone app that uses visual recognition to make operating the car easier

DS Connect Box, a system designed for smartphones that supplies information on the car’s use.

The system also improves safety by allowing the driver to make localised assistance and emergency calls.
