The launch of David Wilson Homes latest new development in Bristol is set to give the city a jobs, homes and community boost.

More than 80 new jobs will be supported at Oatley Park in Barrow Gurney where the five star housebuilder is building 40 exclusive four, five and six bedroom homes.

The majority of the new jobs created are expected to be filled by local people with the construction project set to benefit a wide range of local sub-contractors, supply chain and provide valuable apprenticeship opportunities.

Sales director Louise Ware said the launch of the detached homes is good news for the whole city.

“As a leading housebuilder in the region our developments underpin hundreds of jobs in local communities and we are delighted to continue this commitment at Oatley Park.’’

In addition to the local construction jobs established in building the new homes new developments such as Oatley Park have a positive economic impact on the region.

“Local councils benefit from increased council tax revenue and new residents provide a valuable revenue stream for existing businesses in the area.’’

David Wilson Homes, which was recently named a five star housebuilder for a record fifth year in a row, is set to launch Oatley Park this winter.
