Redrow is continuing apace with its regeneration scheme in Moston with further homes now on sale at its new venture St John Gardens.

In the latest phase of a major scheme in Moston and Harpurhey, St John Gardens will feature three and four-bedroom homes and, subject to planning, some highly desirable bungalows.

Following on from Woodville Gardens and Hanson Gardens, the homes all hail from the housebuilder’s award-winning Heritage Collection which marries Arts & Crafts-style exteriors with contemporary 21st century interiors. Additionally, the homes boast plus special measures to make them extra energy and water efficient.

To show off the style, for the first time in Moston, St John Gardens will boast a fully furnished Heritage showhome, a three-bedroom ‘Warwick’ housetype. The four-bedroom ‘Stratford’ housetype will also be home to the marketing suite providing visitors with the opportunity to see both house styles up close. Other house styles available at the venture will include the three-bedroom ‘Letchworth’ and the three-storey, four-bedroom ‘Kenilworth’.

Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), said: “We’re very excited about this next phase at our Moston venture, which we hope will carry on the momentum from the neighbouring phases - Woodville Gardens and Hanson Gardens - where we’ve experienced high demand.

“So far in Moston we’ve created a range of homes for young people, couples and families and the new homes at St John Gardens are adding even more variety. We’re expecting a lot of interest in this next phase so I’d urge would-be buyers to come and take a look and what’s on offer as soon as possible.”

Redrow began it regeneration project in Moston back in spring 2010, and has since been helping to transform this part of North Manchester in partnership with the City Council, while providing new homes and jobs for local people.

The housebuilder has invested almost £400,000 on highway improvements in the neighbourhood; resurfacing roads, replacing footpaths and installing traffic calming measures at key junctions. This work and the construction of the new homes has been carried out with the help of local labour and complements the City Council’s own multi-million pound improvements in the area.

Manchester is just 10 minutes by car or via the tram and bus services and the development is ideal for families with a strong community spirit and bustling high street.
