Continued strong demand in Eastern Europe Volvo Trucks’ deliveries to Europe rose by 16 per cent between January and April, totalling 18,228 units. Deliveries to Eastern Europe increased by 67 per cent to 5,073 trucks. In North America, deliveries dropped by 54 per cent to 5,308. All told, deliveries decreased by 8 per cent, totalling 30,423 trucks.

Volvo Trucks’ deliveries between January-April amounted to 30,423 vehicles, down 8% compared with the same period last year. The decrease in deliveries is fully attributable to North America where the new emissions legislation continues to make an impact on the delivery statistics.

All the other regions show higher deliveries. Europe (+16%), and especially Eastern Europe (+67%), continue to show strong delivery figures. Deliveries in South America (+32%) are also strong.
