Fleewinter launches super-yacht sailing holidays

20th December 2014 Print

Fleewinter has created a brand new holiday concept – super yacht sailing holidays – enabling mere mortals the opportunity to holiday like the super-rich.

Argentous is a 65 foot sailing yacht which is more akin to a luxury floating villa with the services provided by a boutique hotel; the boat will be based in the Greek islands during the summer months and the Caribbean during the winter.

Comments Alisdair Luxmoore, founder of Fleewinter: “We all know about oligarchs and their gigantic luxury yachts and at the other end of the scale you have the small charter sailing boats which have been around for a long time.

“But there is nothing in the middle; with Argentous, which comfortably sleeps eight guests in four bedrooms (the crew have separate quarters at the front of the boat), we have provided the opportunity for people to enjoy a seriously luxurious holiday, aboard a truly eye-catching yacht.

“Imagine a private villa where you wake up in different, beautiful location every morning; this is a completely new type of holiday for people who want a unique experience without sacrificing comfort and, what’s more, the yacht has no branding so as far as anyone who sees you is concerned, you own it!”

Three of Argentous’ bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, there is air-conditioning throughout and a generous amount of space to dine, sunbathe and relax.

The boat comes with a skipper and chef to ensure that people get the most out of their holiday; from fine dining to a great sailing experience and private access to some of the most beautiful parts of the world – in peace and seclusion.

Neatly tucked away at the back of the yacht is a 40 knot speed boat with water skis, a wakeboard, ‘ringo’ (giant inflatable ring) and two paddle boards for exploring the coast.

There are also adult and child windsurfer rigs (the warm waters of the Mediterranean and the Caribbean are the perfect places to learn).

A week’s holiday when occupied by four adults and four children, costs from £950 per person, including airport transfers, crew, fuel, mooring fees, breakfast, light lunch, soft drinks, water and tea/coffee (flights extra, from approx. £150 pp).
