Volvo dealer network welcomes Wales and West Truck and Bus

The new company was formed on 1st September from a management buy-out of what was formerly known as Volvo Truck and Bus Centre Wales and West, a wholly-owned Volvo Dealership. The Head Office remains at Burcott Road, Avonmouth, near Bristol.
The Management and Truck Sales teams remain the same and the new company continues to serve the region through its existing seven Dealer points. Despite the change of ownership, the Management Team of Managing Director Billy Nairn, Sales Director Andrew Long and Aftermarket Director Richard Millar report that it is ’business as usual’ in their relationship with customers.
Volvo Trucks’ new Managing Director, Göran Nyberg commented, “We are delighted to see Billy and his Team take on this new challenge and wish them every success in their new venture. This business has grown significantly over recent years and customer satisfaction levels have also grown substantially.
He added. “Having been with Volvo for over 30 years, we are confident that Billy, with his skills and experience, will take this business on to the next level and ensure that the transition from Volvo-owned to independent Dealer will be seamless for all concerned.”
Speaking on the first day the new company opened up for business, Managing Director Billy Nairn emphasised that he and his colleagues were appreciative of the supportive messages they had already received from customers and staff. ”We would like to say thank you to all our valued and loyal customers and our staff for supporting our new venture. We are very aware that, without them, we do not have a business. Our aim is for our customers to be totally satisfied with the service we provide for them. This single fact is of paramount importance to everyone who works for our new company.”
Billy added, “Whether customers are booking in a vehicle for servicing, ordering Parts or requesting a quotation for new trucks, we want them to be happy that they have been treated with respect, courtesy and prompt service. Our aim is to work closely with our customers to provide them with cost effective business solutions to their transport needs. We do not claim to have all the answers, but we humbly suggest that our colleagues will always go the extra mile to help our customers. Our seven Dealer points are ready and able to help customers maintain their competitive edge in this challenging business environment.”
