Volvo Trucks’ deliveries August 2008

17th September 2008 Print
Volvo Trucks Volvo Trucks’ deliveries during August amounted to 5,891 vehicles, up 6% compared with the year-earlier period.

The increase in August is mainly driven by higher volumes in Asia and Eastern Europe, though partly offset by a negative impact from production change-over to a new product range.

The economic uncertainty in Europe has led to a slowdown in truck demand in several European markets.

In North America the demand for trucks remains at a low level.

The demand remains strong in Asia including the Middle East, South America and Africa.
