Eeasy to maintain and efficient to run, new Redrow homes in Pershore are proving popular with downsizers.

To date around 75% of properties at Abbey Meadows have been sold to people moving to somewhere smaller and more manageable. Now with fewer than 10 homes available those with a house to sell could fear they will miss out. But the good news is that Redrow is helping purchasers sell up and move on with its Mastermove service.

Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), says: “The wide variety of homes at Abbey Meadows has attracted keen interest from a range of purchasers. We’ve welcomed a good mix of homeowners including first time buyers and families, but the vast majority of buyers have been people downsizing or rightsizing. Even some of our largest properties have been sold to empty nesters who want somewhere more manageable but still have the space for friends and family to come to stay.

“Whatever their housing needs, the one thing our customers all have in common is that they appreciate the ease of living that a brand new Redrow home has to offer. We can even help ease the transition from old to new with our Mastermove service enlisting tried and trusted agents to secure a buyer for the house the customer wants to move from.”

The final homes available at Abbey Meadows include bungalows and traditional two-storey properties in a mix of two and three-bedroom styles. Prices range from £196,995 to £349,995.

Designed and built with pride the homes are easy to manage and unlike some older, second hand properties they won’t require costly repairs or maintenance. They also boast a host of energy efficiency measures so buyers who move from a draughty old home could find their fuel bills are lower.

“The beauty of a new build home is that instead of inheriting someone else’s décor you can customise it to your own personal taste and move straight in as soon as it’s ready,” Pauline adds.

Pershore is a charming market town with ample amenities both locally and in nearby Worcester.
