10th April 2007 Print
The new 4007 fitted with KYB shocks, represents Peugeots first venture into the four-wheel drive sector. KYB has increased its original equipment (OE) business with Mitsubishi and PSA Peugeot Citroën by supplying shock absorbers for the Mitsubishi Outlander, Peugeot 4007 and Citroën C-Crosser.

All three vehicles were shown at the Geneva Motor Show, and while Mitsubishi continues to build on its success in the 4x4 sector, the 4007 and C-Crosser represent the first venture into this market for the PSA Peugeot Citroën Group.

The 4007 and C-Crosser utilise Mitsubishi’s proven four-wheel drive system, while the 4007 also has its own bespoke set up for the road.

In addition to Mitsubishi and PSA Peugeot Citroën, KYB also supplies numerous other original equipment vehicle manufacturers (OEMs) around the world, including Audi-VW Group, Ford, General Motors, Renault and Toyota.

Over one in four of all new cars leaving production lines worldwide are fitted with KYB shocks as original equipment making KYB the world’s largest supplier of OE shock absorbers to vehicle manufacturers.
