Interest in RMIF membership grows

Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMIF) membership is going from strength to strength, with more businesses than ever before expressing interest in joining the organisation.

Alec Murray, RMIF non-executive chairman commented: ’In the six months since the RMIF was restructured, existing members have expressed greater satisfaction than ever before, and this has been partially responsible for the growing interest by prospective members.

‘We are confident that the achievements of the last year will encourage many more retail motor sector businesses to join the RMIF and become part of the process shaping the future of our industry.’

He adds: ‘Block Exemption renewal, possible changes to the MOT test, and increasing Government legislation of business are among the many issues that will affect our sector during the next few years. We must speak with one voice to ensure that we are heard, and the RMIF is that voice.’
