Oaklands Quarter near completion

4th January 2015 Print

Oaklands Quarter, Miller Homes’ contemporary residential development in the heart of Salford has sold more than 95% of its properties after a recent surge of strong sales that reflects the property market’s growing strength in the region.

The homes have been extremely popular due to the quality of the build, high specification and easy access to Manchester’s vibrant city centre. The development also has excellent local facilities on its doorstep including schools, medical centres and shops as well as superb panoramic views of the city.

The three bedroom Tolkien, one of the development’s contemporary builds, is one of the remaining homes for sale and is available from £178,995. The home is ideal for families and young professionals and is cleverly spread over three floors.

The ground floor boasts a large living room and modern kitchen, whilst upstairs is home to two spacious bedrooms with the master bedroom taking pride of place on the top floor with a large en-suite and beautiful dormer windows.

Leanne Feeley, regional sales manager for Miller Homes North West, comments: “Salford is a great location for home owners with so much on their door step. We’re thrilled with the success of Oaklands Quarter as it has grown to become a great community and we’re sure it won’t be long before the remaining homes are snapped up to complete the development.”

Miller Homes offers a number of schemes to help ease the financial challenge of buying a property, including the Government’s Help to Buy scheme. The scheme offers assistance for qualifying purchasers who only have a small deposit of around 5%, through the provision of a 20% Government equity loan. This means that buyers only need to secure up to a 75% mortgage from a bank or building society.
