House builder, Countryside, has launched a new shuttle bus service in Boothstown to provide residents with quick and easy access to local areas, seven days a week.

Passengers will be able to travel around the clock with the new public transport service, which officially launched today. It will run a fast and frequent service from 7.00am until 7.20pm Monday to Friday, and 10.00am to 5:20pm on the weekends.

The bus will operate a circuit around Boothstown, serving various stops along Amberhill Lane, through to Longwall Avenue, Mosley Common Road and Simpson Road, as well as linking to existing routes into Manchester city centre.

The introduction of the new public transport service follows the launch of Countryside’s new Egerton Grange development on Vicars Hall Lane and will offer both new and existing residents a comfortable and convenient alternative to driving.

Peter Vella, Regional Sales and Marketing Director at Countryside, commented: “This is a unique offering that we’re very excited to be part of. Our vision is always to enhance the areas that we work in and this new service will help to support the development of these much-needed new homes in Boothstown.

“We believe that we are one of the first developer’s in the UK to introduce improved transport links in this way and hope that it will assist residents in and around the development with their daily lives.”
