Ford's commercial vehicles rack up the awards in 2007

Ford's latest commercial vehicle line-up is celebrating more than just Christmas. In 2007 Ford, Transit, Transit Connect and Ranger together picked up 17 awards from specialist media and key motor industry organisations.

Steve Kimber, commercial vehicles director, Ford of Britain, said: "Our CV line-up has gone from strength to strength since new Transit was launched last year. Demand for Transit has led to extra production at the Southampton assembly plant. Transit outsells its top three competitors put together and we are on course to end the year with an increase in sales for Connect and Ranger too.

"Receiving accolades for these products means a great deal to us as a company because we are being judged by buyers and key industry influencers. We are extremely proud of the awards we have received in 2007."
