More choice for Harrogate homebuyers

Homebuyers in Harrogate are being spoiled for choice with the introduction of an alternative collection of new homes from award-winning developer Redrow.

Since its launch earlier this year, Devonshire Gardens, off Claro Road in the town, has primarily featured homes from Redrow’s Georgian-influenced and highly distinctive Regent Collection.

Now, for the first time, buyers can stake their claim to a very different style of property with the introduction of a selection of detached four and five-bedroom new homes from the housebuilder’s popular Heritage Collection

While the Regent style evokes the classic Georgian style architecture of the Regency period, by contrast the Heritage Collection offers English craftsmanship inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement of the late 19th/early 20th century; an enduring style which remained popular for homes in later periods, especially the 1930s. Walk through the front door though and this collection, with its chic interiors, is very firmly in the 21st century.

With modern styling throughout, bright, open plan living spaces and contemporary appliances, three new Heritage house designs are currently available at Devonshire Gardens, all detached.

The four-bedroom Sunningdale, with prices starting from £524,950, is generously proportioned with the perfect balance of shared rooms and personal space. It benefits from two en-suite bedrooms, a utility room off the kitchen, a downstairs cloakroom and a spacious adjoined double garage, with clever design evident in every detail.

The four-bedroom Henley executive home, from £564,950, is undeniably impressive. With two en-suites, a 36 feet long family dining and kitchen area and a double garage, it is a generously proportioned home of real quality and character.

In the £599,950 five-bedroom Marlborough, luxury and convenience go hand in glove, with plenty of room for the whole family – and more. It is an extensive home of real substance with five generously sized bedrooms - including the impressive 17’ x 14’ master - and two en-suite bathrooms. The open plan kitchen/dining area with patio doors onto the garden and the more formal lounge with traditional, wide bay window, make spending time together a pleasure; while the cosy snug is ideal for quieter moments of relaxation – or could be used as a study. The property also features a spacious integral double garage.

Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire) said: “Harrogate is a terrific location and now with the addition of our Heritage Collection at Devonshire Gardens, homebuyers have even more choice when it comes to finding the home that’s right for them. One thing that remains the same across all house styles is Redrow’s attention to detail and the quality of each build.

“All of this is provided close to The Stray and within easy reach of Harrogate town centre. As a result, Devonshire Gardens suits a variety of purchasers from young professionals to growing families and downsizers and a range of family-friendly features make our homes perfect for those with children.

“With Help to Buy, the initial cost can be reduced by 20% with only a 5% deposit required, so it’s never been easier to make the move to a brand new home.”

Homes from both Redrow’s Regent and Heritage Collections are currently available at Devonshire Gardens, starting from £344,950. Show homes and the sales centre on Claro Road are open from 10am until 5.30pm daily. For more information go online at redrow.co.uk/devonshire
