Branch out in a brand new home

Finding a new home can sometimes seem hard when you can’t see the wood for the trees.

But a range of options and incentives from Redrow can make buying a home much easier, so you and your family can put down roots with confidence. And having a fully furnished show home to view should make the decision to turn over a new leaf so much easier.

Good news then that Redrow’s four-bedroom Cambridge show home is opening this weekend (October 29) at Woodland View, in Prestwich.

Even without a show home to view Redrow has experienced intense interest in the homes available and 12 people have already purchased ‘off plan’.

“The earlier you reserve a property, the more opportunities there are to individualise it and help it grow into your dream home,” Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), explained.

“On occasions we’ve had little or nothing on the price list at Woodland View but it’s been possible to make what we call an ‘early bird’ reservation. In essence this is an expression of interest which, in return for a small refundable deposit, gives the customer first refusal when that property is eventually released for sale. This means they can then start personalising their new home at the earliest opportunity and with some exciting online help from a facility know as My Redrow.”

Woodland View, off Pinfold Drive, will eventually be home to 30 apartments and 67 houses. Current prices are from £314,995 for a four-bedroom detached home.

Featuring homes from Redrow’s Arts & Crafts inspired Heritage Collection, the first phase comprises three and four-bedroom homes, which have been hugely sought-after since they were first announced. Indeed, during the launch weekend the first three properties released for sale were reserved within 10 minutes.

“It just proves that not only is this a superb location, with great access to motorways and Manchester city centre, but that many people see the benefits of buying early and off plan,” Claire added.

“The beauty of buying a brand new home in a development’s early stages is the sheer amount of choice available. Firstly, there is a far greater chance of snapping up your favourite style of home in exactly the spot you want and, once you have reserved, there is the opportunity to truly make it your own.

“Customers can log onto the My Redrow area of our website and make so many design choices, from the of the kitchen or the bathroom tiles, or even adding practical extras like hot and cold water filter taps, additional appliances or even eco options like a charging point for an electric car or water butt.”

The range of options means that no two homes will be exactly the same and, once the property is ready, buyers can move straight in and it is already the home they wanted.

Would-be buyers can view the professionally designed and decorated, fully furnished, Cambridge show home from October 29, to fully appreciate the design, space and quality afforded by Redrow.

The Cambridge is a four-bedroom detached family home boasting an open plan kitchen, dining and family area, separate lounge, utility room and cloakroom. Upstairs there are four generously sized bedrooms with a large family bathroom and an en-suite to the master bedroom.

There will be a variety of house styles at the development, which is handy for independent shops and eateries in Prestwich village, as well as having a large Tesco superstore nearby. It’s very close to the Phillips Park nature reserve, which offers woodland, open spaces, footpaths and bike trails.
