New, high specification Ready to Run Citroen Relay car transporter

A new, high specification, beavertail car transporter joins the Citroen Ready to Run range with the launch of the new KFS converted Relay car transporter. This all-new, two axle 3.5 tonne gvw car transporter offers significant operational benefits, including payloads approaching 1700kg and 4.77m deck length.

Andover-based KFS is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of light car transporters. The new Ready to Run Relay car transporter has a special, type approved AL-KO drop frame fully galvanised chassis. To this KFS adds a high strength, low weight alloy car transporter body, with a sloping beavertail rear deck section to ease the loading of lower vehicles.

The Ready to Run Relay KFS car transporter is exceptionally well equipped. Standard features include 2.46m long twin light alloy loading ramps, recessed tie-down rings in the load deck, side lockers for tools and other equipment, tie-down straps, work lights and a cab roof amber beacon. KFS also offers, for just £815 + VAT, a recessed electric winch.

Special features of the KFS conversion include torsion bar rear suspension for optimum ride and minimum roll characteristics. In addition to being able to accommodate most types of cars and a wide range of light commercial vehicles, the KFS car transporter can also be operated with up to 2000kg braked gross weight trailer.

The new Ready to Run Relay car transporter can be specified with either 104hp 2.2HDi or 127hp 2.8HDi diesel engines. All models are supplied with a flexible, two year, unlimited mileage or three year, 100,000 mile warranty package.
