Why a brand new home in Bedfordshire could be a Mastermove

Moving home can seem like a minefield, but Redrow can help buyers see the wood – or Woods – for the trees.

There are many reasons which make buying a property at the builder’s Caddington Woods development in Bedfordshire a Mastermove – not least the beautiful and spacious homes from its award-winning Heritage Collection.

But add to that an idyllic location and a host of helpful incentives, and the picture clears to show the dream.

“Caddington Woods near Chaul End is being built against a backdrop of acres of woodland which make it a pretty remarkable location,” says Tonia Tyler, sales director for Redrow Homes (South Midlands). “It is perfect for those who want to immerse themselves in countryside living, while staying close to all those things which make life easy and enjoyable like strong road and rail links for commuters and a wealth of amenities.

“But, of course, we understand that when you have an existing house to sell, it doesn’t matter how tempting the development or the homes – or even the superb price!”

Tonia adds: “For instance, the average price of homes sold last year in Harpenden just eight miles away was £750,109– higher than many of the homes we have to offer which have every advantage of a brand new property – from little or no maintenance to low running costs and no unwanted surprises.

“That’s why we developed Mastermove to make the moving process simple and straight-forward too.”

With Mastermove, Redrow handles the sale of the customer’s home for them, arranging valuations and appointing an estate agent to market the property at an agreed price.

It doesn’t matter whether the customer is moving up, down or sideways on the property ladder, plus there’s no correlation between the price of the properties being bought and sold. If that wasn’t enough, Redrow will even make a contribution to the agent’s fees. All the buyer needs to do is select the right new home for them – and there is no shortage of options.

Among the properties available is the Highgate, an impressive, double fronted property, offering 1,932 sq ft of accommodation over three floors, and priced from £625,950.

At the heart of the home is an open plan kitchen, dining and family area, complemented by a separate lounge. A utility, plus a downstairs cloakroom complete the ground floor.

On the first floor is the master bedroom with glamorous dressing room and en-suite, two further bedrooms, plus the family bathroom. And with two more bedrooms on the top floor, together with another shower room, the morning rush for the family bathroom could be a thing of the past.

Or perhaps the three-bedroom detached Leamington, priced from £521,950, will appeal.

It offers the amount of living space that people may expect to find in a four-bedroom home with open plan kitchen, dining and family room, separate lounge, plus a utility and convenient cloakroom completing the ground floor.

Up on the first floor all three bedrooms boast an en-suite, meaning the morning rush for the family bathroom will be a thing of the past.
