Premium residual values with new Citroen Relay!
The new, premium Citroen Relay range has already achieved its first major success in advance of its UK launch, later this month. Based on independent price guide residual value figures, the new Relay range is expected to have residual values over 50 per cent better than those of the model it replaces. Both UK independent pricing guides, Glass’s Guide and CAP Monitor, have also confirmed that the new Relay will receive a similar percentage uplift in residual values to other premium rivals. According to Andy Picton, light commercial forecasting editor of Glass’s Guide, the new Relay impressed with its advanced design, premium levels of safety, comfort and convenience equipment and high standard of build quality.
Over 200 dedicated Citroen lcv dealers, together with the company’s commitment to build a core network of specialist lcv used vehicle retailers within the UK and a sophisticated remarketing strategy, all played a part in the new Relay’s improved residual value performance.
Ian Hughes, Citroen’s head of fleet and remarketing, comments, “The independent price guide residual value figures indicate that new Relay’s residual values will be around 55 per cent above the model it replaces. We believe that its combination of premium quality, design, engineering and specification, together with innovative new features, have been key to the achievement of new Relay’s higher residual value performance. Our customers recognise that Citroen light commercials have long provided competitive residual values and new Relay is a major advance.”
New Relay goes on sale in the UK later in October and will offer a wide choice of premium specification panel vans, window vans, combis, chassis cabs and chassis crew cabs in the 3.00 to 4.05 tonne gvw sector.
