Citroen Dispatch, Relay & Euro IV Berlingo make CV Show debut!

Three new Citroen commercial vehicle ranges make their UK show debuts at the CV Show 2007 (NEC, April 24-26). Part of an exciting, 14-strong display on the Citroen stand (no. 4421), the new Dispatch and Relay ranges debut alongside the latest Euro IV Berlingo and frugal C2 Enterprise, which recently gained the accolade of being the UK’s most economical commercial vehicle.

No less than five new Dispatch vans and Combis will be on show, including the Dispatch L2H2 high roof van, which is on display in the UK for the first time. Also making its CV Show debut is the new Relay range – the five Relay display vehicles include a first UK outing for the Relay Combi, the arrival of which complements the new Relay range of over 70 different models.

The latest generation, all-Euro IV powered Berlingo range is represented by three display models, which include new, even higher specification Berlingo Enterprise and Berlingo XTR+ versions. The Citroen CV Show line-up is completed by the award-winning C2 Enterprise van.

With its new commercial vehicle range Citroen has pioneered a number of significant UK light commercial vehicle “firsts”. All Euro III and Euro IV diesel powered Citroen light commercial vehicles run on up to 30 per cent bio-diesel without modification.

The Relay is the first large panel van range to be fitted as standard with Trafficmaster Smartnav satellite navigation and Trackstar stolen vehicle tracking systems. The new Dispatch is also the first compact panel van range to be fitted as standard with both of these systems.

Dispatch LX compact panel vans are the first to be sold, as standard, with pneumatic, self-levelling rear suspension with lowering facility, while all Dispatch models powered by the 136hp 2.0HDi engine are fitted with an ultra-clean Diesel Particulate Filter System (DPFS), making them the first light commercial vehicles in the UK to be offered with this system, which reduces particulate emissions to virtually immeasurable levels.
