Citroen Ready to Run programme - more models, greater innovation and low cost

The award-winning Citroen Ready to Run programme, which was already the most extensive of its type offered in the UK, has not only been extended but all products have also benefited from an on-going improvement process. In addition to a wider range of specialist bodies/conversions, the new Ready to Run programme is the only one of its type to include van racking packages, a panel van tail lift and a Berlingo Dual Fuel (petrol/lpg) conversion.
All Ready to Run bodies, conversions and add-on packages are covered by each converter with two year unlimited mileage/three year 100,000 mile warranties, to match the cover provided with the standard Citroen vehicle. Also, all Citroen Ready to Run vehicles with Euro IV diesel engines can run, without modification, on up to 30 per cent bio-diesel.
Robert Handyside, Citroen’s commercial vehicle operations manager, comments, “The 2007 Citroen Ready to Run programme is unique in that it offers all the customer benefits of high quality, innovative design and shorter delivery times. Thanks to Citroen’s unique pricing proposition, it also offers customers the benefits of exceptional value for money, delivering cost savings of up to many thousands of pounds over comparable, competitor offers.”
“Not only is the latest Citroen Ready to Run programme the most comprehensive of its type, it is also unique in a number of other important aspects. All of the products are exceptionally well priced and we have been careful to ensure uncompromised conversion standards - any Ready to Run product is of the highest specification and supplied by the leading converter in its field. Furthermore, these converters have not been constrained by working to a given price. Instead, each converter has been encouraged to produce the optimum specification product for the programme without focussing on cost.”

New Ready to Run Relay minibuses
Based on the newly launched Relay range, Advanced Vehicle Builders has now adopted bonded flush fit direct glazing. This, combined with the modern styling of the new Relay range, results in an extremely attractive minibus.
Priced from just £14,495 + VAT + delivery, the Ready to Run Relay minibus range includes 12 and 15 seat models. In addition, for the first time, there are two types of 17 seat Relay minibus in the programme. Advanced Vehicle Builders is also offering wheelchair accessible Relay minibuses, which are available through the Ready to Run programme.
The latest Relay minibuses incorporate all the established safety and operational benefits of the previous models. Thus they all have M1 tested seats, seat belts, mountings and under frame structure. With the introduction of the new Relay minibuses Advanced Vehicle Builders’ continuous product improvement process has seen the interior fit and finish quality raised to even higher levels, thanks to the introduction of all-new moulded interior panels.
Advanced Vehicle Builders has made full use of the new Relay’s wider body design to improve passenger accessibility with wider gangways. One model, based on the Relay 35 L3H2 is aimed at the schools market and this is now joined by a new and larger Relay 35 L4H2 based 17 seat model for non-school sectors.
A further new enhancement to the Ready to Run Relay minibuses is the adoption, as standard, of three individual slide and release rear seats. This enables operators to adjust passenger and luggage capacity to suit individual requirements and makes the Relay Ready to Run minibus an even more attractive proposition. The new slide and release rear seats are standard on all 12, 15 and 17 seat Ready to Run minibuses.
A wide range of options is available for the Relay Ready to Run minibus range, including power access steps, overhead hat racks and other comfort/convenience options to enhance an already very high level of standard specification.
