Citroen signs a third solus deal with Thomas Broadbent & Sons Ltd Thomas Broadbent & Sons Ltd has just signed its third solus agreement for Citroen vans to replace its entire light commercial vehicle fleet. The company, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of industrial centrifuges and industrial laundry equipment, has just taken delivery of 30 new Relay, new Dispatch and Berlingo vans.

The 25 Berlingo 1.6HDi LX 90hp vans, two Relay 35 L3H2 120 panel vans and three Dispatch L1H1 LX 120 compact panel vans have been supplied to Thomas Broadbent & Sons by Citroen dealer Dutton Forshaw, Preston. All these vehicles are fully ply lined internally, have bulkheads fitted and are being operated on four year, up to 100,000 mile, with maintenance Lloyds TSB Autolease contract hire agreements.

Mr David Atkinson, Thomas Broadbent & Sons Ltd’s general manager, comments, “The company has had extremely reliable and economical service from its previous Citroen vans – and as a result has decided to continue to specify Citroen vans. The latest Relay and Dispatch van models bring with them the benefits of additional carrying capacity. Also, our drivers appreciate the high levels of comfort and safety equipment which comes as standard with these vans.”

Huddersfield-headquartered Thomas Broadbent & Sons Ltd, which was founded in 1864, exports its industrial laundry equipment and industrial centrifuges worldwide. The company’s industrial centrifuges are widely used in the effluent control, chemical, pharmaceutical, sugar refining and food processing industries. The new Relay, Dispatch and Berlingo vans are allocated to the company’s skilled specialist installation and maintenance engineers who work throughout the UK and Europe.
