GP Plantscape’s all-Citroen CV deal

The first Citroen commercial vehicles to be purchased by GP Plantscape, as a result of the new solus supply deal, are 10 Relay vans and 13 Berlingo 1.6HDi 75 hp Enterprise vans. The larger Citroen vans are a mix of Relay 30 L1H1 100hp and Relay 35 L3H2 120hp models. All of the vans, which have been supplied by Citroen dealer Alistair Fleming, Kilmarnock, will have a three year service life.
Mr Jim Gilchrist senior, a GP Plantscape director, explains, “Previous experience with Citroen commercial vehicles has shown that they are very good vans and the aftersales service provided is excellent. We have also found Citroen to be a very good company to deal with and we like the choice of vehicles it offers.”
Since the early 1990s the GP Plantscape has developed from being a long-established vegetable and flower grower in the Clyde Valley to an expanding business providing major corporations with plants, internal and external landscaping and artwork. The company has also set up a green recycling operation which provides high quality compost for both its own and outside customer requirements. In addition to its Lanark headquarters GP Plantscape has business centres in Aberdeen, Kelty, Manchester and Newcastle.
