House-hunters in Cambridgeshire will soon have a fresh opportunity to snap up their dream Taylor Wimpey home, with a new phase of properties coming soon at Cambourne, near Cambridge.

Darwin Grange will be a brand new collection of 3, 4, and 5-bedroom homes located within the new Cambourne West development.

The new development is set to open in September, but in the meantime, there’s a selection of two, three and four-bedroom houses remaining for sale at Taylor Wimpey at Cambourne, within Upper Cambourne, priced from just £279,995.

Caroline Carter, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We’re incredibly excited about the upcoming launch of our new collection of homes at Darwin Grange at Cambourne.

“Cambourne has already been a big hit with home-hunters and this next phase is set to be very popular, with a fantastic choice of properties that will cater for buyers in a range of circumstances.

“I’d advise anyone hoping to secure one of the new homes at this wonderful development to get in touch without delay for the best chance of reserving their pick of the plots when they are released for sale!”

Cambourne currently comprises three linked villages – Greater Cambourne, Lower Cambourne and Upper Cambourne – and Cambourne West will form a fourth village to the west of the existing new homes.

Cambourne’s impressive range of local amenities includes three primary schools, a nursery and a secondary school, and Cambourne West proposes to bring two further primary schools and a new secondary school to the community.

Cambourne is also home to a selection of high street shops, a supermarket with petrol station, a library, playing fields and play areas, a multi-denominational church and a medical centre, plus a choice of restaurants, a pharmacy, a dry-cleaners and a coffee shop, while an exceptional range of amenities can be found in Cambridge’s city centre nine miles away.

For commuters, the A14 is a short drive away, with the M11 also within easy reach. St Neots railway station is seven miles from Cambourne, putting the capital just an hour away by train.
