Cornwall Glass & Glazing take delivery of Citroen Relay Ready to Run Supertrucks One of the West Country’s largest specialist glass and glazing products stockists, Cornwall Glass & Glazing Ltd, has just taken delivery of nine Citroen Relay Ready to Run Supertrucks glass carrying vans. This is the largest single order for glass carrying vans gained to date from the award-winning Citroen Ready to Run one-stop specialist body range.

Ready to Run partner Supertrucks Ltd, St Helens, has fitted the Relay L3H2 120 3.5 tonne gvw panel vans with its full height, full length, all alloy side glass carrying rack and full length roof racks. Internally, the Relays are equipped with twin glass racks and this Ready to Run package is supplied complete with internal/external glass securing poles and facia board. Cornwall Glass & Glazing has additionally specified extra internal storage for tools and other equipment and has had all the exterior aluminium racking powder coated in yellow to match the Relay van paint finish.

The nine Relay vans have been purchased from Citroen dealer Barclays of Warrington and will have a service life of six years, during which time they will cover some 120,000 miles with Cornwall Glass & Glazing. Sign written with Cornwall Glass & Glazing’s various trading names, the distinctive yellow Relay vans will be allocated through its 12 strong depot network, which extends from Cornwall northwards through Devon, Somerset and Wiltshire. The new Relays will be used by the company’s glazing teams involved in retail/industrial/domestic projects.

St Austell headquartered Cornwall Glass & Glazing has, over the last 25 years, grown to become one of the West Country’s major suppliers of bespoke products. Members of the Glass & Glazing Federation, the company manufactures to BS EN 1279 standards and is unique in that it has the only glass toughening plant in Cornwall, which makes products to meet EN 12150 standards.
