SIG increases Citroen fleet

The Sheffield-headquartered company, which has long been a major Citroen operator, has since ordered a further five of these vans, to increase the number of Berlingos and Dispatch vans in its light commercial vehicle fleet to over 80.
SIG plc fleet administrator, Steve Wragg, says, “The thing we like about Citroens is their ability to cope with arduous workloads. We expect four years and 100,000 miles from our vans and these vehicles certainly can stay that distance – as well as being both cost effective to operate and well received by their drivers.”
Putting great emphasis on customer service SIG’s new Citroen vans will be used by its engineers, who provide cavity wall and loft insulation throughout the country. Most of the company’s Citroens are used by SIG cavity wall insulation specialist subsidiary, Miller Patterson.
SIG plc is an international supplier of insulation, roofing, commercial interiors and specialist construction and safety products operating in 11 countries across Europe, serving a wide range of trades in the building and construction markets.
