Forget Breakfast at Tiffany's - celebrate your wedding at Tiffany's

Couples wanting to tie the knot at one of Somerset’s most iconic locations now have more choice than ever, as event planners at the historic Grand Pier in Weston-super-Mare, open up the sought-after Tiffany’s suite all year-round.

The elegant restaurant at the venue comes complete with stunning panoramic sea views and is a favourite for weddings and other special events.

Until now, the suite has been closed to weddings during the busy peak-summer months of July and August, but now due to the overwhelming popularity of the wedding offering at the Grand Pier, managers are opening Tiffany’s for nuptials throughout the year.

With views to the south of Brean Down and the rolling Mendip Hills, views to the west of the Welsh hills on the horizon and views to the north of Birnbeck Pier and the Weston woods beyond, the location is like no other for those looking for a wow-factor.

Hollie Otley, event manager at the Grand Pier, said: “In recent years we have seen a huge increase in the amount of weddings held at the pier. I think people are more inclined to look for unique and quirky venues like ours to celebrate their big day.

“We are lucky that on the pier we can accommodate weddings and celebrations of all sizes, from two people to over 500, across our choice of suites, including The Great Hall. From experience we know that Tiffany’s comfortably accommodates small intimate occasions along with larger weddings of up to 180 guests.

“As is to be expected the summer months are the busiest time for weddings here, as people want to take advantage of the beautiful views, outdoor areas and seaside atmosphere of the Pier, so we have decided to open up Tiffany’s to weddings during this period, as well as the rest of the year.

“Tiffany’s is one of the crown jewels of our Coastline and we get so much fantastic feedback about how elegant and beautiful it is so we’re expecting our prospective couples to be very happy. Certainly those that have used the suite in the past for their weddings have been over the moon with their experience.”

Tiffany’s is also available for birthday, anniversary and other celebrations and features its own menu of delicious home cooked meals and afternoon teas, as well as a fully licensed bar.

Hollie continued: “The popularity of Tiffany’s has really grown and its calm and relaxing atmosphere combines well with the wow-factor views and novelty of being a quarter of a mile out at sea.

“We offer something more than your average hotel or function room venue with the spectacular backdrops setting the scene and the added fun of our on-site attractions.”
