The Peugeot 206 Van and Boxer see sales growth

The Peugeot 206 Van was the best selling small car derived van in May with a total of 276 sales, a 133.9% increase over May 2005. The strong sales performance was helped by the van being chosen by Venson Automotive Solutions as the ideal vehicle to fulfil a new contract with one of the country’s leading energy suppliers, npower. This is the largest one model order for Venson Automotive Solutions and testimony to the practical and stylish design of the 206 Van.

Peugeot Boxer van also showed continual sales growth which moved it into eighth place in the sales charts above its sister vehicle the Citroën Relay in May. This strong performance has resulted in the Boxer reporting a 7.6% sales growth year to date in a segment up only 1.4%.

The Peugeot Expert continues to out perform its two stable mates, both in May and year to date, with total sales of 2469 vehicles.
