World class exhibits for Yokohama HPT at Brityrex

The UK distributor for Yokohama tyres and TSW, MAK and five ranges of marque-specific aftermarket alloy wheels, Yokohama HPT Ltd, will be exhibiting at next week’s Brityrex show at the G-MEX Centre in Manchester. Running from 1-3 May, the trade show will see Yokohama HPT (YHPT) exhibiting its full range of high-performance tyres and alloy wheels, along with two of the most significant supercars on the market.

Based around YHPT’s famous promotional and motorsport support unit, the company’s stand will feature a Porsche 911 JP3, which forms part of the PalmerSport corporate driving day portfolio. The brainchild of former Formula One driver, Dr Jonathon Palmer, PalmerSport operates at the Bedford Autodrome close to YHPT’s base in Milton Keynes.

Like other cars forming the line-up at Bedford, the 911 JP3 is fitted with Yokohama tyres for optimum performance, safety and longevity – three of the keystones of the Japanese manufacturer’s product. And three good reasons that Porsche itself chose Yokohama ADVAN Sport tyres as factory fit on the 911 Carrera 4 road car. The tyres on the JP3 are also mounted to Victor Equipment alloy wheels, a range specifically designed for Porsche models and available through YHPT.

Joining the Porsche will be a familiar sight for fans of the James Bond movies – the Aston Martin V8 Vanquish driven by Pierce Brosnan in his final role as 007 in Die Another Day. The Vanquish took part in one of the most spectacular car features of any bond movie, a chase on ice and was equipped with Yokohama tyres, alongside the traditional arsenal of Bond weaponry. Aston Martin is another manufacturer to have chosen Yokohama tyres as factory fit, also on the Vanquish range, as a result of the products’ performance and safety.

In addition to the cars, Yokohama HPT will have the full range of Yokohama tyres on display, including the ADVAN flagship range, featuring the ADVAN Sport and the ADVAN ST, designed for sports SUVs, as well as the ADVAN A048, widely accepted as the tyre of choice for track-day drivers.

The three-strong Yokohama .drive range will also be present, offering three different options for the replacement tyre buyer looking for value, comfort or performance from their tyres. Yokohama’s full 4x4 tyre range too will be on show, catering for all applications, from primarily road driving to full mud, snow or sand conditions.

Alongside the tyres, YHPT will be showing the full range of TSW alloy wheels, including the latest additions to the UK line-up, the Mondello and the Holsten. There are also new wheels in the MAK Wheels line-up, including the Fever 5R and the motorsport-inspired, lightweight XLR.

YHPT has also introduced two more ranges of marque-specific wheels to compliment its existing three, for BMW, Mercedes and Porsche. The two new ranges, August and Redbourne, are designed exclusively for Audi and Land Rover/Range Rover vehicles respectively. The two-strong August range will fit both A and S designation Audi models, while the Redbourne products are intended for the Discovery 3 and Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models, both for on and off-road applications.

Yokohama HPT Ltd will be located at stands 68/70 at the Brityrex exhibition from 1-3 May.
