British Motor Heritage acquires PowerStop Brakes Ltd
British Motor Heritage Limited is proud to announce that it has acquired PowerStop Brakes Limited, the leading independent distributor for brake products and exclusive agent in the classic sector for the acclaimed EBC brake pads and discs.PowerStop Brakes Ltd was founded in 1999 by Colin Cooper and has grown to its current pre-eminent position by marketing quality products at competitive prices with excellent customer service. Speaking after the sale Colin Cooper said ‘I am pleased that Heritage has acquired the business as I feel certain that they can continue the growth whilst giving the same excellent customer service that is a hallmark of the PowerStop reputation’
British Motor Heritage Limited is the leading manufacturer of body panels and bodyshells using the original manufacturer’s tooling. Heritage Managing Director John Yea said ‘I am really delighted that we have been able to agree a deal with Colin. PowerStop is an excellent complementary business for Heritage as it has the same basis of excellent, exclusive British made products that offer real customer benefits in the classic sector. EBC brakes are manufactured in the UK. The improved braking performance available from EBC quality products is recognised throughout the Automotive and Motorcycle sectors. Classic vehicles can particularly benefit from the ‘better-than-new’ safety margins offered.
